Frequently Asked Questions for the Where's George? Version 2.2

#1 How long did it take to do this?
About four months on and off. Half the time was taken to move the entire hosting operation from California to Massachusetts. The other half was re-writing most of the code to handle a new database configuration.
#2 Tell me about Refreshes for the YOUR BILLS and HITS BY STATE reports
Due to a new database setup, these reports, when refreshed, represent delayed, but 'live' data - between 10 and 20 minutes behind actual 'real time'. That means if you enter bills, or get a hit at 12:00PM, and you refresh your reports after 12:15M or so, the bills and/or hits will show up in all the reports. But if you refresh your reports immediately after entering bills or getting a hit notification, they will NOT show up right away. (Except on the 'Recently Entered Bills' report.) The old notion of 'data current as of end of day yesterday' on these reports no longer applies.
#3 How do the REFRESHES themselves work?
If you have any refreshes remaining for any report, you will see a 'To Refresh this report **Click Here**' link. Click on that link to refresh your report. Your report will then be scheduled to be run soon. During that time, you can view your old report until your new report is complete. To check the status of your scheduled report, click the 'check status' link, and the status of the report will be updated. The status is either 'scheduled to be run', 'running' or 'completed'.
#4 Did the Bill Report URL Links change?
Yes, they did. As part of the software upgrade, it was necessary. Existing links to your old bill reports will still work, although you will get a page indicating the new link to use. But I would ask that you update any links in your profile or other pages to the new URL links.
#5 The new webpage is too wide for my browser window!
The new layout was designed to take advantage of your entire browser window. In a few cases, the browser may not display this correctly, and if this is the case, you can use this page to manually adjust the width of the website in your browser.
