The 'Friends of Where's George?' Program
From the very beginnings of Where's George?, I felt it should be a totally free site for anyone and everyone to enjoy. Where's George? is NOT and WILL NEVER become a pay or subscription only website.You will NEVER have to pay to use this website.
Originally, the banner ads had helped fund the site and keep it running and free for all. Since the 'dot-com' crash, the revenue from the banners has steadily decreased, while my costs for running the site have gone up as the number of users and traffic levels also increased. Also, many people have complained about the banner ads slowing down the site.
In order to solve both problems, I've created the Friends of Where's George? program.

The 'Friends' program removes all banner ads and provides enhanced capabilities and new features to people who help support the site.
