Here you can enter any denomination bill. Here's how...
1. Select the Denomination
2. Select the Bill Series
3. Type in the serial number
4. Type in the zip code where you currently are.
Bills as old as 1963 can be entered.
Here are a few reasons you can't enter older bills:
1. Any old bill is likely to have collectible value; so collectors would want to keep them rather than just tracking them here.
2. Old bills are generally rare; so you are not likely too find many here.
3. For old bills, it is impossible to establish unique bills. Before the series 1969, there was more than one type of note (some with blue seals, some red, etc.). Because of that, it *is* possible to have two separate bills with the same denomination, series, and serial number. Rather than adding another data field to specify the type of note, it is easier to not allow entry for older bills at all. We urge all users to properly enter, before marking (in any manner), then spend the bills (Enter, Mark, Spend (EMS) – in that order). (HMG)
If you have an old bill, you may want to go to the Collectors' Forum and ask the experts there about its value.
Please be careful when entering bills that contain the letters ‘G’ and ‘C’ in the serial number. ‘G’ and ‘C’ are often incorrectly interchanged. Personally, I do not care for the font used on the bills. (HMG)
Please do not enter any bill you do not have in your possession - especially bills or pictures of bills you may see in advertisements, in magazines or newspapers, in movies, on TV, web sites, etc. - any of these bills should be blocked from entry. If you attempt to enter any bill that has been blocked, your account will be automatically disabled, rendering you unable to enter any more bills.
If you wish to find a bill report without entering it (for example, to add it to your Favorites or see if it has been blocked from entry) you can use the Bill Lookup form.
International Users - U.S. ZIP codes of Foreign Countries:
If your bill is found outside of the Canada and the U.S., please use the “International Users - Click Here“ link on the bill entry screen (Where's George “Home” link), to locate and enter the location closest to your actual location.
If you use the "# @CNT@" to keep track of the bill # of the bills you enter and you delete your last bill entered you will need to go to "Preferences" and reset your Current Bill Count.
