Help for this Page: Frequently Asked Questions for the New Site
This is the FAQ page for the "new site". For anyone who might not be aware of what this means: this site used to have a completely different look. On Dec. 23, 2003 "Where's George? 2.0" was introduced, with the whole site completely changed - not just the appearance, but much of the functionality has been improved. This FAQ lists questions having to do with some of the important differences between the new site and the old one. At some point in the future, this FAQ will be merged with the "regular" FAQ.
Explain why I have to 'Activate my Account'.
Please verify that your email address is correct (you must use the same e-mail that you originally “registered” at Where’s George), then please go back to the Account Activation page and have another email sent to you. The new e-mail will include a shorter link you can use to activate your account. It is possible that the activation e-mail is being sent to your SPAM/Bulk/Junk e-mail folder.
