It was brought to my attention (only this week) that changing a series (or denomination) is a two step process. 1) change the existing bill and 2) re-enter the bill (creating a second entry).

Apparently, some users are incorrectly using the current system. 1) They are incorrectly choosing the wrong option and inadvertently
changing the existing bills to a wrong series (or denomination). 2) They are not completing the second part of the transaction by creating their entry. That may explain why no second entry is present.

We are researching the entire issue. Stayed tuned for future updates.

Until this is fixed, please continue to use the Contact Us form to inform us.

Please send all required bill information: 'Denom/Series/Serial' in their respective fields on the Contact Us form – so that we can recover the full serial number. You can submit masked serial numbers with '---'. Also, please copy, paste, and insert the entire 'bill correction' e-mail in the 'Message Body'. After we locate the full serial #, we will send it to you. Then you can change the bill information back, by re-entering the bill with the correct information into the bill entry screen – 'Where's George Home' link.

I am glad that Hank implemented the recent 'bill modification e-mail'. If this has been happening all along, now it has been brought to light and can be addressed.
