As part of my job, I move around a lot. In fact, I have lived overseas for most of the last eighteen years. I started marking bills with "wheresgeorge?" in August 2002, just before I began work at the U.S. Embassy in Zagreb, Croatia. I was in Croatia from 2002-2005.

After that, I was posted to the U.S. Embassy in Libreville, Gabon from 2005-2007, the U.S. Embassy in Vienna, Austria from 2007-2010, and the U.S. Embassy in Riga, Latvia from 2010-2013.

When I am in the U.S., I am usually either in St. Louis, MO visiting family, or in the Washington, DC area on business.
